Zelda Adendorff is the former Deputy Director for the Teaching and Learning Development Capacity Improvement Programme at the Department of Higher Education and Training, and Project Manager for the Teacher Education for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Project. She is currently working as a consultant in the area of programme and curriculum development for Higher Education Qualifications, including those in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). Her current research interests include: policy development and implementation in Higher Education, professionalisation of ECD educators, and the use of Complexity Theory as an analytical framework for understanding the conditions that need to be in place for positive and sustainable change and development to take place at a systemic level in education.
